MILLING BENDING MACHINE FOR COMPOSITE PANELS (Alucobond) mod. ALU BENDER – As per E.C. rules
The milling bending machine for architecture and building field Alu Bender was designed to cover the core of aluminium composite panels.

– It mills one of the two skins and the core till it reaches the main skin to be bent.
– Then, during automatic feeding, 10 bending rollers bend the main skin against the core by closing and hiding it also from atmospheric agents.
(It is possible to effect the same operation on honeycomb aluminium panels).

This machine has been conceived to obtain the best performances in productivity processing alu composites materials: ACM – ACP – Alucobond® – Alpolic® – Dibond® – Larson® – Reynobond® – Alubond® – Albond® etc
– After the bending rollers it is possible to install a flush trim unit which can bevel at 15° or at radius  2 mm, panels which have both sharp corners such as HPL, Acrylics etc.

The milling bending machine for architecture and building field Alu Bender is
– equipped with a front extension support to help feed panels of large dimensions.
– Equipped with three phase motors for the chain feeder and powerful high frequency motors, the Alu Bender carries out workmanships automatically with very little maintenance. 
– A centralized dust extraction system in one hose allows to eliminate the swarfs with a “dust collector unit” which is NOT supplied with machine.
– Thanks to the optional units it is possible carry out milling on HPL (TRESPA®, POLYREY®, RESOPAL®) to create overlapping between panels and the bevelling of the sharp edges.

The same workmanships can be carried out on acrylics, policarbonates, etc..

Bevelling on both sides of the panels which is impossible to be carried out contemporarily on machining centres (Nesting type) and on vertical panel saws.

• Panels that can be worked (milling and bending) Composites in aluminium with PE core and Mineral Core*: min 3 mm – max 6 mm (skin: min. 0,3 mm – max 0,5 mm), min. length 120 mm, min. width 110 mm. (*it needs an optional special milling cutter) 
• Panels that can be worked (milling and bending) Composites in aluminium “honeycomb” min 6 mm – max 8* mm (skin: min. 0,5 mm – max 1,0 mm), length min. 120 mm, min. width 110 mm (* more thicknesses to be worked by additional optional items)
• Panels that can be worked (milling only) laminated high pressure “HPL” min 6 mm – max 12 mm, min. length 120 mm, min. width 110 mm
Panel chain feeding unit (track) with rubber-coated slides, variable speed from 2 to 8 m/min
• Upper bar with 2 rows of rubber-coated wheels, adjustable in height for panels min. 3 – max 30 mm, with numerical indicator
Adjustable inlet guide from 0 to 30 mm with numerical indicator for aligning the panel to the bending line of rolls
MILLING GROUP T2 milling motor 0,50 kW – 200 Hz – 12.000 r.p.m. with Widia milling cutter Z10 0° for: – working of composite aluminium panel with PE core from 3 to 6 mm of thickness (min. skin 0,3 mm) – working of edges of HPL panels, min 6 mm max 12
