POLYSTYRENE MILL
The machine is composed by a support structure made of metallic carpentry where there is the crushing chamber, containing the plates operated by the vertical shaft moved by a motor with max. power of 5,5 kW.
Such plates are composed by 6 small shafts that include crushing blades. Just above there is the pre-crushing chamber where is a rotary shaft – operated by a reductor connected to a motor with max. power of 2,2 kW.
Polystyrene is canalized in the pre-crushing chamber after being inserted in the hopper through the large lateral opening (560×220 mm.) or through the upper one (560×420 mm.). The electric plant is positioned in the protection board equipped with an access door where there is the main interlocked switch.
The triturated material goes out from the machine through the rear outlet tube to which a tube has been connected to transport material to storage silo.
