Hot wire CNC polystyrene cutting machine – Nettuno Mod. DOUBLE CUT

Developed for those companies who have the specific requirement of cutting the blocks of expanded / extruded polystyrene along the 4 sides without moving it from the original position.
Two hot wires orthogonally positioned and driven by one controller will execute the cut.
This is a system developed to reduce the production time and increase the accuracy.
This machine is recommended for the production of foam packaging, eps slabs, thermal and acoustic panels, cornices, mouldings,  foam inserts for blocks, precast, decorative elements, letters.

Design with open frame
Double Cut has an open frame structure and this helps the operator when he has to load and unload the block of expanded polystyrene from the table top.

Accurate
The 2 cutting wires are orthogonally positioned and driven by one controller for executing the cut.
The most interesting feature, that makes Double Cut very accurate, is that thanks to the 2 cutting wires, it’s not requested to rotate the foam block and there will not be the risk to lose the centre position of the EPS block.

8 independent axes
Double Cut works with 8 independent axes and as extra it’s possible to add the vertical turntable (9th axis).
It is the perfect CNC hotwire foam cutter for those who need to cut eps blocks along 4 sides with the highest accuracy.

The structure of Double Cut is very strong and heavy duty because it’s made using large profile of aluminium,  steel and linear guides to drive the 8 independent axes.
