HANDLING OF “X” AXIS HAPPENS BY MEANS OF PINION AND RACK; THE RACK, OF THE INCLINED AND GROUND TOOTH TYPE, IS MADE OF HARDENED STEEL; THE PINION IS HARDENED AND ITS TEETH ARE GROUND. THE PINION IS RIGIDLY MOUNTED ON A VERY PRECISE PLANETARY GEARBOX.

HANDLING OF “Y” AND “Z” AXIS HAPPENS BY MEANS OF HIGH PRECISION BALL SCREWS WITH PRELOAD SYSTEM. THANKS TO THIS SYSTEM, THE COUPLING SPACING IS REDUCED TO ZERO, THUS ENSURING THE MAXIMUM POSITIONING ACCURACY. THE COMPUTERIZED CONTROL OF THE ACCELERATIONS COMBINED WITH THE HIGH RIGIDITY OF THE STRUCTURE, ENSURES RAPID MOVEMENTS WITHOUT VIBRATIONS.
