BRIDGE STRUCTURE (“Y” AXIS) OF HIGH RIGIDITY, MADE OF SUITABLE RIBBED ELECTR-WELDED CARPENTRY. THE STRUCTURE MOVES LONGITUDINALLY (“X” AXIS) ALONG THE MACHINE’S BASE AND SUPPORTS TRANSVERSELY AN ALUMINIUM CAST CARRIAGE WITH THE DRILL HEAD AND THE OPERATOR GROUPS, ALL INDEPENDENT.
HANDLING OF “X” AXIS
HANDLING OF “X” AXIS HAPPENS BY MEANS OF PINION AND RACK; THE RACK, OF THE INCLINED AND GROUND TOOTH TYPE, IS MADE OF HARDENED STEEL; THE PINION IS HARDENED AND ITS TEETH ARE GROUND. THE PINION IS RIGIDLY MOUNTED ON A VERY PRECISE PLANETARY GEARBOX.
HANDLING OF “Y” AND “Z” AXIS
HANDLING OF “Y” AND “Z” AXIS HAPPENS BY MEANS OF HIGH PRECISION BALL SCREWS WITH PRELOAD SYSTEM. THANKS TO THIS SYSTEM, THE COUPLING SPACING IS REDUCED TO ZERO, THUS ENSURING THE MAXIMUM POSITIONING ACCURACY. THE COMPUTERIZED CONTROL OF THE ACCELERATIONS COMBINED WITH THE HIGH RIGIDITY OF THE STRUCTURE, ENSURES RAPID MOVEMENTS WITHOUT VIBRATIONS.
SLIDING GUIDES
ALL MOVEMENTS HAPPEN ON HIGH PRECISION PRISMATIC GUIDES WITH PRELOAD PADS, EQUIPPED WITH DUST-PROOF SEALS.
THE LUBRICATION SYSTEM ON THE MOVEMENTS IS AUTOMATIC.

ALL SPINDLES ROTATE SIMULTANEOUSLY.
THEIR SENSE OF ROTATION IS RIGHT AND LEFT.
THE INDEPENDENT INSERTION MOVEMENT FOR EACH SPINDLE, MADE BY MEANS OF PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS, ALLOWS THE EXECUTION OF BOTH SINGLE AND MULTIPLE DRLLING.
THEV DRILLING GROUP IS EQUIPPED WITH A CIRCULAR BLADE (MAX. DIAM. 120 MM.) TO MAKE LONGITUDINAL CUTS ON THE X AXIS OF 25 MM. DEPTH.

VERTICAL ELECTROSPINDLE
THE VERTICAL DRILLING UNIT SHALL BE MOUNTED DIRECTLY ON A SLIDE ANCHORED TO THE UPPER BEAM AND IS EQUIPPED WITH A PNEUMATIC THROW IN THE WORKING POSITION.
THE SLIDE IS CARRIED OUT ON LINEAR GUIDES AND PRE-CHARGED BALL ROLLERS TO GUARANTEE MOVEMENTS IN THE 4 DIRECTIONS. THIS SOLUTION, TOGETHER WITH THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE GUIDES OF THE “Z” AXIS AND THE OPTIMAL ALLOCATION OF THE RECIRCULATION SCREW IN THE CENTRAL POSITION, ALLOWS EXCELLENT PRECISION BOTH IN DRILLING AND MILLING.
THE TOOL HOLDER CONE IS CLAMPED WITH CUP SPRINGS, UNLOCKED WITH PNEUMATIC PISTON; 2 SENSORS ENSURE THE CORRECT ATTACHMENT OF THE TOOL HOLDER.
THE ELECTROSPINDLE IS EQUIPPED WITH A COMPRESSED AIR CLEANING SYSTEM OF THE CONE THAT ENSURE A PRECISE COUPLING AND A SAFE TIGHTENING OF THE TOOL HOLDER.

PANELS WITH BOTH SMALL AND LARGE DIMENSIONS MAY BE CLAMPED ON BOTH TOPS.
WITH THE MATRIX NOTCHED TOP, IT’S ADVISABLE TO USE AN MDF “MARTYR PANEL” WITH THICKNESSES RANGING FROM 5 TO 20 MM., BETWEEN THE WORKTOP AND THE PANEL TO BE WORKED.
ADDITIONAL SUCTION CUPS MAY BE USED ON THE MATRIX NOTCHED TOP TO PERFORM MACHINING WITH SHAPED AND/OR SMALL WORKPIECES.
THE WORK TABLE SHALL BE FIXED DIRECTLY TO THE MACHINE BASE IN SUCH A WAY AS TO ENSURE RIGIDITY AND LACK OF VIBRATIONS.
THERE SHALL BE HOLES THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SURFACE OF THE TABLE FOR THE VACUUM INTAKE.
ON THE STANDARD SMOOTH PLANE, THE VACUUM PASSES FROM THE PUMP TO THE SUCTION CUPS WHICH THEN RETAIN THE PIECES TO BE PROCESSED.
ON THE MATRIX NOTCHED PLANE, THE VACUUM PASSES FROM THE PUMP TO THE GROOVES ON THE TOP. THE PARTS ARE HELD IN PLACE WITH THE AID OF GASKETS.
