GRINDER mod. M-2 – Production 250 Kg/h – As per E.C. rules
The M-2 grinder is suitable for grinding:
– high and low-density plastic
– hides and rubber
It consist of:
A weight-bearing structure consisting of an assembly of different thicknesses of sheet metal to ensure sturdiness and to eliminate noise as far as possible during operation. All the parts of the structure are snap-connected to ensure alignment and maximum precision.
PLC- controlled hydraulic unit for moving the feed box.
Rotor in special steel made of a single body on which the cutting tools are mounted provided with four cutting edges bits in Vidiam. The tools can be changed easily when they are worn out or broken because they are fixed with screws.
Counterblade in hardened shock-resistant steel.
Power cabinet that encloses all the safety devices and guards, provided with a PLC that controls the hydraulic panel during operation of the machine.
If the rotor jams, the PLC will reverse the rotation direction of the rotor to facilitate release. After rotor rotation has been reversed, the rotor resumes the grinding direction. If the jam is repeated several times in succession, the machine stops and generates an alarm.
Direct-drive reduction unit with cast iron body provided with a reaction arm to prevent violent blows if non-grindable material is inserted into the hopper. It is supported by adjustable radial bearings with two crowns of rollers that can withstand even really heavy-duty situations.
This model, unlike the smaller one, is equipped with a cast iron orthogonal reducer 160, not endless screw.
It’s a very strong reducer, supported by a reaction arm that can absorb even considerable crashes.
The loading hopper can be taken off, if necessary, because it’s fastened by screws to the base that forms the machine.
Furthermore, the grinder has been also equpped with a small screw for the ejection of the ground material from the collecting chamber that is closed by an inspection bolted door equipped with a safety system that makes the machine stop if it’s removed during the working phase.
