LOG SAWING MACHINE (SAW MILLS) LT70 series

The LT70 series is designed to meet the needs of modern factories, and thanks to the thin-cutting technology there is a significant increase in profits.

The LT70 comes standard with flywheels and belts to use 32-38 mm blades, or it can be configured with double cast iron flywheels without belt to use 50 mm blades. Larger flywheels and 50 mm blades can only be ordered for normal width.

Log handling with the LT70 can be set to your company’s exact needs – manual, hydraulic or super hydraulic configurations are available to meet different productivity and budget demands. Setworks, Accuset or PLC electronic cutting meters allow the operator to focus more on high-quality production.

The LubeMizer blade lubrication system keeps the blade clean and lubricated, increasing cutting performance. The wide range of Wood-Mizer blades are designed for all cutting needs and offer maximum yield from the trunk and minimum waste of precious timber.

Popular options
Complete mobility for your log saw can be achieved by adding a tow cart. The cutting engraver extends the life of the blade by making a pre-cut on the bark of the trunk, before the blade comes into action, wiping away the dirt and pebbles from the bark. Various optional motors are available: electric and diesel.

STANDARD FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES OF THE LT70
Blade-guides with roll locking: precision cut with further blade stability.
Hinged covers of the blade-holder wheel: they facilitate blade replacement and are easy to be closed and fixed.
Belt-tightening pulley clutch: easy access to the driving belt for the ordinary maintenance.
Single column upright: further maintenance and aligning easiness.
Air-cushion blade tightening: better uniformity in blade tightening in any cutting condition.
very great bearings for the taken part: bearings with diam. cm. 7,5 on the upper side. The double slid disposition of bearings on the operator’s side means an increase of their duration.
“Accuset”: the powerful orienting devices are currently assembled on the LT70.
Towing kit: it includes adjustable rods like standard with specifications perfectly according to towing.
Automatic clutch: it’s controlled by the operating board. It’s included in the LT70 standard equipment.
“LubeM”: the pressurized lubrication system keeps the blade clean and lubricated, increasing its total perormances. It’s included in the LT70 standard equipment.

STANDARD FEATURES
600 mm. belt wheels
The 600 mm. belt wheels have been projected to allow the use of the mm. 1,4 blade without compromising its working life.
Air-cushion blade tensioning device
It supplies constant tension to the blade and in the meanwhile it reduces blade vibrations and crashes, this way improving the working length of the blade and the cutting precision.
Blade guide arm group
The strong and rigid structure can be easily aligned and can perfectly support the needs of the sawing to produce.
Blade guides with double roll block
The blade block/roll guides have the maximum blade stability with a reduced maintenance.
Centrifugal clutch
The centrifugal clutch system makes the productivity increase and reduces the operator’s tiring in applications wih high output volumes.
