LOG SAWING MACHINE (SAW MILLS) Mod. LT15CLASSIC

Incredibly versatile the LT15 is very popular due to its high quality, extensive functionality, proven reputation and convenience. This log saw allows you to do everything from rural development housing, to cut in continuous cycle for companies, to the supply of quality timber for hobbyists. The LT15 cuts logs up to 70 cm in diameter for 3.45 m in length with the standard track. To cut longer logs you can add extension rails to reach the desired cutting length. Thin-cutting blades require minimal energy consumption so that small motors provide sufficient energy to cut all types of wood. Petrol and diesel engines are available.

The trunks are locked to the rails by means of two trunk clamps and three adjustable side brackets. The head height is precisely positioned thanks to the high/low handling system. The cut is obtained progressively by advancing the head along the length of the trunk thanks to a crank. Once the cut is complete, the head is pulled back and lowers to the position for the next cut.

A water tank lubricates the blade directly to improve cutting performance and keep the blade clean. The electric blade guide arm supports the blade when cutting various sizes of material. The blade tension is easily adjusted while maintaining the right tension during cutting. The wide range of blades offered by Wood-Mizer can meet any type of cutting and provides maximum yield and minimum waste of precious timber.

Popular options

Increase productivity with the Setworks cutting meter – simply select the required thickness of the board and the head height is automatically positioned for each cut. Increase production by adding the forward/backward feed system. You can add the cutting engraver, which extends the life of the blade by cleaning away the dirt and pebbles from the bark, available only for the AC model. You can add the MP100 planer to produce molded beams and columns.
